Led by a star athlete and aided by a beautiful college girl home on vacation, a high school environmental group tries to stop construction of a nuclear reactor. They are opposed by the Federal Power Commission, the contractors, and the construction workers, especially one tough-talking, womanizing young roughneck who pursues the girl and attacks the boy. About the Author
C. Douglas Taylor, author, poet, aviator, was educated at Penn State, Gettysburg College, and the University of Florida. He has taught at eight different colleges and universities, and has worked as a carpenter and foreman on construction sites across the nation. His other works include the amusing aviation best-seller How to Pilot an Aeroplane, a humorous novel, Football in America, and two children's books, Downtown Ducks and Thanksgiving.
