His friends mice Spin and Twirl are happy but don't care about helping the Rooster. In the end, the Rooster gives a good lesson to his lazy and careless friends so they change their behavior!
The book is retold, translated to English, and illustrated by Canadian Ukrainian artist Olha Tkachenko.
