Anonymous receipt of a dated murder confession has Cisco reviewing case files from the 1972 incident at Delano Manor. But he won't uncover the entire truth about what happened. Only flashbacks reveal the secrets of those having failed her mother, and why lying to Jennifer was necessary to protect her.
Now Jennifer has questions she was never meant to ask.
As for what Cisco learns, it's enough to make this first homicide investigation his last.
